JUST IN : ASUU Resumes indefinite strike
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Taraba State University section, on Wednesday, continued inconclusive strike to squeeze home its requests.

“Law no 4 of 2008 indicated that five percent of the state allotment, five percent of the Local Government portion and two percent of all agreements will be utilized in subsidizing the college, yet these have been dismissed.

In a response, Mr Ande Boyi, President, National Association of Nigerian Students (NASS), Taraba State University section, engaged Gov. Darius Ishaku of Taraba to satisfy the association’s needs to empower understudies proceed with their investigations.
“Since the strike has been proclaimed, the understudy body is engaging Ishaku to promptly fulfill the needs of ASUU to guarantee that understudies don’t remain at home for long,” he said.
He bemoaned that understudies had quite recently continued from the across the country strike just to be defied by another round of strike.
