The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says its Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE has debased an Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) Terrorists’ alcove in Northern Borno.
NAF’s representative, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, who uncovered this in an announcement on Monday in Abuja, said the activity was led on Monday.NAN reports
Daramola said the ATF likewise killed a portion of the ISWAP contenders at Tumbun Zarami in the Northern piece of Borno.
“This was cultivated through air strikes directed on Monday, April 8, as a major aspect of the progressing air crusade of Operation YANCIN TAFKI, which is gone for flushing out ISWAP components from islands on the edges of the Lake Chad.
“A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) stage, on a normal observation mission, watched huge nearness of ISWAP warriors in the settlement, with a few structures and hardware spotted underneath the thick vegetation of the territory.
